We started off as a group of highly motivated planters and we continue to have the most productive planters in the province. Our approach to planting gives you the best earning potential with experienced management in a planter-oriented company.

Outland is a well-established, reputable company and we work for some of the best clients in the industry. Most of our work is under long-term or directly negotiated contracts. Many of our tree rates are governed by union contracts. Our clients include: Alpac, Bowater, Buchanan, Domtar, Tembec, Tolko and Weyerhaeuser.

Unique to Outland is the ability to provide a variety of work across the country. Beginning in February, through to December, work opportunities are available in planting, spacing, brushing, herbicide spraying, fire fighting and fire support, youth training, forestry surveying and slash pile burning. All planters are paid by direct deposit and on most projects, pay is bi-weekly.

At Outland you can expect an atmosphere where people work hard and have a good time during the down time. We will encourage you to push yourself beyond what you thought possible. The management understands that its role is to support our planters. We also know that a good camp atmosphere and the chance to meet and hang out with your fellow planters is a key part of why people plant.
Another hallmark of an Outland camp is safety. We take seriously our responsibility to provide our employees with safe transportation, safe working conditions and a safe camp environment.
