Outland and Fox Lake Cree Nation Form Joint Venture AgreementFebruary 2014
Outland Camps and Fox Lake Cree Nation are pleased to announce that they have formed a Joint Venture Agreement in order to work together on business opportunities relating to camp design, construction, catering and facilities services.
Fox Lake and Outland will work together to capture opportunities relating to the Conawapa project being undertaken by Manitoba Hydro in Fox Lake Cree Nation’s Traditional Territory. “Fox Lake is very pleased to have partnered with Outland Camps in order to maximize workforce housing opportunities on Fox Lake’s traditional land. Outland has been working with First Nations for decades and has the expertise required to execute large scale work force housing projects”, said Joe Courchene, CEO, Fox Lake Ventures, Ltd.
Together the parties will undertake to maximize the employment of aboriginal persons and the development of aboriginal business with Fox Lake Cree Nation. “Outland Camps is very pleased to continue its long history of working with Aboriginal communities.
